The Climate Modeling Workflow (Closed-Loop CM1) is a five-stage pipeline for atmospheric simulation research using the CM1 model (and, where appropriate, WRF). The workflow guides researchers from an initial question through a series of steps involving gap analysis, capability and feasibility mapping, and executable specification design. The workflow culminates in experiment job submission and the production of a publication-style scientific report, all while maintaining explicit human approval gates at every milestone.
Stage 1 involves the Gap Agent, while stages 2–5 utilize the Capability and Feasibility Mapper, Workflow Spec Builder, Experiment Implementation, and Research Report Generator agents.
